- Navigate to the folder where you extracted the firmware and select the scatter file (usually named
MTxxx_Android_scatter.txt
).
Step 5: Select the Flashing Options

- You’ll see checkboxes for different parts like preloader, boot, recovery, system, etc.
- If you only want to flash the system or a particular partition, uncheck the others. For a full flash, keep all options checked.
Step 6: Prepare for Flashing
- Ensure that the Download Only option is selected in the SP Flash Tool's dropdown menu (you can choose other options like Format All + Download if you want to completely format your device, but this will erase all data).

- Disconnect your phone and power it on.
Step 10: Setup Your Device
- Once your Infinix X6511B boots up, go through the initial setup process (language, Google account, etc.).
Troubleshooting Tips:
- Device Not Detected: If the device is not detected, ensure you’ve installed the correct USB drivers and try a different USB cable or port.
- Spinning or Boot Loop: If your device gets stuck in a boot loop after flashing, it could be due to an incomplete or corrupted firmware. You might need to reflash or try a different ROM.
- SP Flash Tool Not Working: Ensure you are using the latest version of SP Flash Tool and that the firmware is compatible with your device model.
Important Notes:
- Backup: Flashing will erase everything on your phone, so ensure you have a backup of your important files before proceeding.
- Official Firmware: Always use the official firmware for your device model to avoid potential issues like bricking.
- Warranty: Flashing your device may void the warranty, so consider that before proceeding.
